This past September 2014, I was completely honored to contribute to Amy & David's Big Day at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu! Despite being Super HOT that weekend, the venue offered the perfect place for the couple to begin their life together! It was an incredible fusion of Amy's Indian and David's Tanzanian backgrounds with a touch of rustic. The designs comprised a bit of gold and wild- like materials to blend both cultures together.
The Bride and bridal party wore gorgeous traditional saris!~
Lovely photos shared by a wedding guest! The ceremony was held in front of a waterfall with an arch covered with curly willow and white orchids!
This moment nearly drew tears from my eyes.
I love watching all my Brides walk down the aisle!
There were 3 different designs for the centerpieces to create mini environments and interest! The Bride also incorporated Tanzanian fabric runners ...cohesive backdrops with the designs. Perfect fusion of cultural meets modern rustic! The first centerpiece was a tall assymetrical design. All designs had gold succulents/ branches, wild-rustic flowers and foliages! The color scheme was ivory/white, green, gold and a bit of gray. I really adore the chalkboard numbers the Bride DIYed for the table numbers.
The second design was a horizontal assymetrical - shorter look!
The third design was a mason jar pair with succulent clay pot pairs!
