Indian Tanzanian Rustic Wedding (Amy & David)

Saying Good bye to 2014 with the last post of the year!   Wishing everyone a bright and cheerful 2015! Cheers to Continued Blessings of Happiness and Good Health! Excited for what 2015 will bring!

This past September 2014, I was completely honored to contribute to Amy & David's Big Day at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu! Despite being Super HOT that weekend, the venue offered the perfect place for the couple to begin their life together!  It was an incredible fusion of  Amy's Indian and David's Tanzanian backgrounds with a touch of rustic.  The designs comprised a bit of gold and wild- like materials to blend both cultures together.

The Bride and bridal party wore gorgeous traditional saris!~

Lovely photos shared by a wedding guest! The ceremony was held in front of a waterfall with an arch covered with curly willow and white orchids!

This moment nearly drew tears from my eyes.
I love watching all my Brides walk down the aisle!

There were 3 different designs for the centerpieces to create mini environments and interest!  The Bride also incorporated Tanzanian fabric runners ...cohesive backdrops with the designs.  Perfect fusion of cultural meets modern rustic!  The first centerpiece was a tall assymetrical design.  All designs had gold succulents/ branches, wild-rustic flowers and foliages! The color scheme was ivory/white, green, gold and a bit of gray. I really adore the chalkboard numbers the Bride DIYed for the table numbers.
The second design was a horizontal assymetrical - shorter look!

The third design was a mason jar pair with succulent clay pot pairs!

                                                                   The Sweetheart Table!

                                                         Grooms Bout

                                                       Fathers Bouts

                                                          Groomsmen Bouts

                                                         Mothers Corsages

                                                    Bridesmaid Bouquets

                                                         Bride's Lovely Bouquet

Thanks Again to Amy and David for letting me take part in your Big Day!!!  Such an incredible couple to work with...Thank you for entrusting me with my design abilities and

Wishing you both the BEST in your Marriage and Journey in Life, deeply honored to have contributed to such Sweet Beginnings!

Love Birds Vintage Inspired Wedding (Kara and Alex)

This past April 2014, I was completely honored to be a part of Kara and Alex's Big Day at the Brazilian room in Berkeley! It was Super Sweet and Memorable!  Everyone had a Blast!!

Kara is one of my oldest and dearest friends since High School! She truly is like a sister to me!  If you look closely at her gorgeous photos, you will recognize her as one of my main Etsy models. She has assisted me countless times in the past on photoshoots and this was my time to repay her kind favors!

A few months before the wedding, Kara had approached me about making some custom handmade pieces for her wedding, so appropriate for her vintage handmade wedding! We collaborated on the designs.  She wanted a flower headpiece fascinator pair, a birdcage veil, flower headpieces for her bridesmaids and tiny hydrangea blossoms to cover the train of her dress to disguise some bustle ribbons!

Thanks Again to Kara and Alex for letting me be a part of your Special Day!!! I was truly honored to contribute these pieces and the final touches on the cake!

Also a BIG THANKS to Love Lens Wedding for their Amazing Photos! To view more amazing photos, visit www.lovelenswedding.com

Hydrangea blossom pins on the back of her train!  Functional and added great texture to the gorgeous dress!

A Close up of the Hydrangea Blossom pins! Complementing clusters to enhance the beauty of the dress and disguise the bustle ribbons.

Kara wore our Bree double blossoms fascinator with crystal centers and a bandeau birdcage veil

The talented Bride made the love birds topper herself!  Amazing!

The Hubby and I with the Happy Couple!

Such a Sweet and Memorable Wedding!!!  Thanks Again Kara and Alex for letting me be a part of it!  Wishing you both a Blissful and Happy Life Together!!!  Cheers!!!

Cornflower Blue Wedding (Rachel and Alan)

This past July 2012,  I was honored to be a part of  Rachel and Alan's Big Day at Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed working with you both! I love when clients give me their inspiration but let my artistic point of view shine through.  It shows they have complete trust in my style and taste and that means the world to me as a designer. This aspect also makes their wedding truly unique and not cookie cutter-ish.

I provided all their floral decor including: ceremony, reception centerpieces, and personal flowers. Since Rachel and Alan are both avid marathon runners, we wanted to create an outdoorsy feel with all their designs. We also wanted to incorporate some architectural style to the designs since Alan is an engineer! It was great fun working with them, I always enjoy working on events when both bride and groom give me their feedback!

*Color Scheme- Cornflower Blue, Royal Blue with a hint of gray and yellow!
(Rachel wanted to honor her late father with incorporating cornflower blue into the palette- so touching and memorable as that was his favorite color)

Thank you Rachel and Alan for letting me contribute to your Wedding! Best Wishes for a lifetime of Bliss and Happiness! I love it when clients and I become good friends after the event!

A Special Thank You to  Frank Salas (www.franksalas.com) for some of the gorgeous photos!

A photo locket of Rachel's late father for the finishing touch on her bouquet!
