Tropical Zen Arrangement for Administrative Professional's Day

Recently, I was asked by Davita Dialysis to provide some arrangements for Administrative Professional's Day!  Flowers are the perfect way to say "Thank You, you are appreciated"!  I decided to select more masculine type flowers since one of the admins was male...so I opted for tropicals.  The river cane gave the arrangement some height, drama, and a zen feel!

Sympathy Arrangements

Although my focus is floral designs for Weddings and Events, I also create arrangements for special occasions and memorable milestones!  In the next post, I will be posting  a Non-Wedding design to showcase my range for floral design work.

Recently I had a client's mom pass away, and I was asked to create a large sympathy piece to be sent to the home. I also sent her a courtesy basket from yours truly! Deaths are very difficult and sometimes Flowers are an appropriate way to say "I'm sorry, We Love you and are here for you Always"! They exude comforting properties ! Flowers are for countless occasions as they have been cherished for centuries!

On another note, these same designs can be used for other occasions as well (ie. Altar piece or Mother's Day basket).

Tangerine Tango, Peach and Blue Bouquet

This year's trendy color  is "Tangerine Tango"!   I wanted to incorporate this bright orange with peach and blue.

This is what I came up with...see pic below!  I adore peach and blue together!  Bright orange gives it a nice pop of color with the minimal red green and mango.

This past April, I had the honor to be a part of Teresa and Sky's wedding!  It was also the first wedding where I was both a vendor and guest...just simply blessed to contribute to this Wonderful Union!  They are such an amazing couple...no two people could be more perfect for each other! Their Love was written in the Stars!!!

Same Flower Bouquets = Simple Statement!!!

Flowers come in so many varieties and colors...they are truly nature's gifts! It can be daunting at times to decide which flowers to use for bouquets and arrangements.  So why not choose just ONE..... perhaps your favorite flower!

Below are two Same flower bouquets I put together and discovered that  both types are very long lasting!  They are Simple and yet make such a Statement. Using one type of flower can be very impactful and have a nice cohesiveness!

Not your Ordinary WHITE Bouquet

I am a Huge Fan of Peonies !!!  LOVE them...they have got to be one of my Favorite Flowers!  Not only do they Smell Fabulous, they have wonderful texture, big heads (don't need a ton to fill space) and are just so luxurious and romantic looking!!!!

If you are a Spring Time Bride, then you are in Luck as they are most readily available in the Spring!

I am not a Huge fan of all white flower bouquets/ centerpieces because the color palette makes the flowers lost within each other !  I think all flowers and foliages are special in their own right and I definitely have my favorites. But I believe each flower (represents beauty and life) should be showcased in that manner.

Spring Whimsy!

Here's a color preview of an upcoming Spring Wedding...displayed in this bouquet.   Having a mock sample usually helps me to see my vision a bit better.  These colors just make me so happy and clearly exemplify the Bride's Fun and Delightful personality! The color palette is light pink, fuchsia, chartreuse with a touch of white- super bright and full of whimsy!
